Grumpy and annoyed post today ;o
To be honest I do not follow what has happened to the raltionship world in the last few years. Has it always been like that , I just have not seen it , now Im a big girl and all so it finally occurs to me? Or, has it just been hidden under bedroom's pillows and it has always bit a tad odd.
What happened to mutual respect , where did the monogamy go? I was looking at my friend's wedding photos the other day , thinking .. How nice ! Wish it was me having those done with my man , if she pulled it I definitely could! Shortly after however I was brought back on earth by someone telling be that this is just a foe. "Most couples get divorced or pretends or hates one another." Ok fair enough , I guess it's always been like that ...
My pain starts at the beginning of this route. I dont think people want relationships anymore. Everything is available at the palm of ones hand. We became more open , picky and fussy. What if the next one is better than this one ? Lets try and if not I might come back to number 1? Have people always been so lose or is it something new. Polygamy , open relationships is now daily bread. We must be weird if we want just one partner... I'm not sure If I like it.
Like it or not at some extend I see only two options : be single or play the game ! The game involves no feelings besides fun and lust , the single life is pretty much the same. Seems like we will all be single soon , have accidental children who will be single as well , the families will stop existing , everybody will end up alone.
Thank God we still have friends! They're the closest to a family we might ever get ;)
